New Years Card

For the New Year's card project, the challenge was designing a festive, elegant piece that felt celebratory without becoming overly busy. I chose a refined color palette of gold, blue, and white to create a feeling of sophistication and excitement. A large, ornate script font was used for the main greeting to give the card a sense of grandeur and special occasion. Clean supporting typography, minimalistic graphic elements, and careful use of negative space helped balance the bold script and keep the overall design polished and modern. This project helped me refine my skills in visual hierarchy, type pairing, and creating designs that feel both luxurious and inviting.
